Between April 24th and May 23rd, ECORA conducted the first phase of its Public Consultation.
Focused on developing technical and methodological standards for carbon credit certification in Brazil, the initiative yielded positive results and broad participation from companies, investors, experts, partner institutions, and representatives of civil society.
ECORA appreciates all the contributions received throughout this period, which were fundamental in enriching the process and supporting the improvement of the documents made available.
The process aimed to strengthen transparency, governance, and the alignment of methodologies with the Brazilian regulatory and environmental context, while also considering best practices and international benchmarks.
