Contribute to the development of the technical documentation for the ECORA Carbon Credit Certification Program.

Ecora is opening its second public consultation to receive contributions on the proposed methodology for carbon certification. This is an open space for analysis, technical comments, and suggestions to improve the documents made available.

Your participation is essential to strengthen a transparent, collaborative process aligned with the best market practices.

How to participate

To submit your contribution, follow the steps below:

  1. Download the documents available on this page: Access the public consultation files and read all the material.
  2. Analyze the content: Review the document and the relevant section, and identify the excerpt you want to comment on.
  3. Fill in your details: Provide your personal information so we can identify your contribution.
  4. Register your suggestion: Select the document, choose the corresponding section, enter the original text, propose the suggested wording, and include your comment.
  5. Submit your contribution: After reviewing all information, complete and send the form.

The deadline for submitting comments is from May 25, 2026 to June 25, 2026.

Between April 24 and May 25, ECORA conducted the first phase of its Public Consultation focused on developing technical and methodological standards for carbon credit certification in Brazil. The initiative achieved positive results and received broad participation from companies, investors, specialists, partner institutions, and civil society representatives.

The process aimed to strengthen transparency, governance, and alignment of the methodologies with the Brazilian regulatory and environmental context, in accordance with best practices and international references.
